RAMS fans are roaring their support outside of the iPro Stadium in advance of today's championship play-off against Brighton. The atmosphere is electric - with most saying they are confident Derby will win the match, taking them to the final at Wembley. Derby County players are in the ground and beginning their preparations for today's game with Brighton about to arrive. They include Jamie Ward who had to dash through the rain to get to the player's lounge.
Paul Tuit,11, has travelled from Dublin this morning especially to watch the match and got to meet Johnny Russell outside of the players lounge. He said: "My favourite player is Conor Sammon. My brother Jack plays for Derby County under 18s so we are big fans. "I think today's score will be 3-1 to Derby." Andrea Elton, 41, of Ilkeston, has come to the match alongside her daughter Roseena. She said: "I don't want to predict what the score will be, I don't want to jinx it. I will be happy with a 0-0, as long as we get to Wembley. "My son was only four years old when Derby got to Wembley last time. It would be amazing if we got to go again." Another Rams fan Richard Powell, 45, of Burton, said he was geared up for the match. He had brought his two daughters Olivia, 12, and Aimee, 10 - who are big Will hughes fans - to the match. Richard said: "I think today's match will be 2-0 to Derby. "It would be fantastic to see Derby win today's match and get us to Wembley. We have had a recession since we were last there. I think we can do it." Father and son, Glenn and Alan Ford, of Spondon, are also big Derby County fans. Speaking before the match, Glenn, 67 - who has been a Rams fan since 1953 - said: "It does not matter what today's score is. "As long as we win, that is all that matters. "Getting to Wembley would be wonderful." Glenn's son, Alan, 48, said he had been a Rams fan since 1974. He added: "To see Derby County at Wembley would be fantastic. I really hope we win."
