The Air Ambulance has been called to an accident on Snelsmoor Lane between a lorry and a motorbike.
The crash occurred close to Chellaston Park heading toward Boulton Moor.
It is not known at this time what condition the motorcyclist is in however ambulances, fire crews and police are on the scene.
