POLICE and firefighters were called to a Spondon street after an arson attack.
A wheelie bin was set alight in Arnhem Terrace at 2.30am this morning with flames spreading to a fence.
Firefighters from Derby's Nottingham Road station attended the incident.
A fire service spokesman said police were called as it was clear the fire had been started deliberately.
The incident was reported by a neighbour who spotted the fence on fire.
