A FIRE was started on Markeaton Roundabout overnight.
A small blaze was reported to the fire service at 4.20am.
A crew from nearby Kingsway station attended.
The police were called due to the suspicious nature of the incident.
Meanwhile, a grass fire along Deepdale in Ironville is also being treated as arson.
The blaze, close to a youth club, was reported at midnight.
A fire service spokesman said rubbish had been set alight.
