BRITAIN'S Got Talent judges heaped praise on a Derbyshire pole dancer following her "brilliant" audition.
Mum-of-one Emma Haslam, of Smalley, was seen by millions of viewers on the hit ITV show last night.
After showing her moves - each one cheered loudly by the audience - the show's four judges voted the 27-year-old through to the next stage of the competition.
Emma, who weighs 15 stone, made sure she told the panel that she was keen to let women of all sizes know that pole dancing is for anyone.
After finishing her risqué performance on the pole, Emma was delighted when the judges praised her, starting with Amanda Holden, who said: "For you to get up there and have such good body confidence is a massive example for girls all over this country."
Alesha Dixon agreed with her and added: "I don't care what size you are, you are brilliant at what you do!"
David Walliams, Alesha and Amanda all voted in favour of putting Emma through, before Simon Cowell told her: "You've got four yes-es."
The music mogul then gave her the thumbs-up.
Speaking after the audition, a thrilled Emma said: "When I walked out and introduced myself, Simon Cowell screwed his face up, but when I did my first trick his face dropped.
"He nudged Amanda Holden who he was sat next to and I could tell they were happy."
Emma, who runs her business, Emma's Pole Dancing, at Mansfield Road, Derby, was contacted by the show's producers to go down to the Apollo Theatre in London in February.
