ALFRETON Town have announced their first two new signings of the close season.
The Reds have snapped up former Tamworth defender Duane Courtney and attacking midfielder Nathan Hicks from Leamington.
Courtney, 29, spent the past four seasons with the Lambs and was named player of the year in 2012-13.
He has also had spells with Kidderminster Harriers, York City, AFC Telford United, Welsh club The New Saints and Burnley.
Hicks came through the youth ranks at Leicester City and has since played for Evesham United, Daventry, Kettering Town and Histon.
Meanwhile, Alfreton have announced they will play a pre-season friendly against League One play-off final winners Rotherham United on Tuesday, July 29 (7.30pm) at the Impact Arena.
