CHILE'S World Cup star Gary Medel is being courted by La Liga side Valencia.
Medel, 26, only joined Cardiff City last summer for £10m from Sevilla but following their disappointing relegation campaign, it is thought he fancies a move back to Spain.
Valencia are planning to capitalise on this and it is reported that the Bluebirds could accept a £6m bid for the player.
MILLWALL are in the race to sign a hotshot non-league striker and recently relegated centre-back.
Byron Webster played 45 games for Yeovil last season, which ended in them returning to League One, whilst Lee Gregory notched 31 goals for Halifax Town in the Skrill Premier last time out.
Boss Ian Holloway likes Webster's "versatility" and a deal could be made when he returns from holiday.
The Lions will go in with a third bid for forward Gregory this week, with Halifax having rejected their previous two bids, although it is thought they would accept an offer of £250,000.
WIGAN Athletic boss Uwe Rosler is in the hunt for USA striker Terrence Boyd, who starred in the Austrian Bundesliga last season.
Boyd, 23, is a German-born American international but did not make Jurgen Klinsmann's World Cup squad, despite notching 20 goals for Rapid Vienna.
It is expected the 6ft 2ins frontman will command a £3m fee.
LEICESTER CITY winger Lloyd Dyer has agreed to return to the Championship with Watford.
The 31-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Hornets and will be unveiled when his City contract runs down at the end of the month.
Dyer ends his six-year spell with the Foxes on a high, with a Championship-best total of 10 goals in 46 appearances last season.
BLACKBURN ROVERS striker David Goodwille could be on the way back to Scotland.
Financially-troubled Rangers are interested in the Scot as he has struggled to hold down a first-team slot at Ewood Park.
Goodwillie spent last season on loan at Dundee United and Blackpool, and has only five Rovers goals to his name since joining from Dundee United for £2.8m in 2011.
Rangers will be competing in the Scottish Championship next season but their finances mean they may try to loan the forward as his £12,000-a-week contract runs out next summer.
