BOSSES at Intu Derby have moved to reassure customers they are working with police to investigate two sexual assaults in the shopping centre.
The two offences happened at about 6.20pm on Thursday as a man was leaving the toilets near the food court in Intu Derby.
He approached a 13-year-old girl as she was walking towards the toilets and touched her breast.
She turned round to get help and saw him assault a second 21-year-old woman in a similar way.
The girl told her father and security staff, who followed the suspect and tried to detain him but he ran off.
The man is described as being white and pale. He was bare-chested and wearing black jogging bottoms and a black cap. He had tattoos on both shoulder blades.
A spokeswoman for Intu Derby said: "We are working closely with Derbyshire Police to help with their investigation following Thursday's incident.
"The safety of our customers will always be our number one priority."
Anyone with information should contact Derbyshire police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
