DERBYSHIRE commuters are being warned of delays after an aircraft crashed into a field next to the M1 motorway.
The light aircraft came down at just after 1.30pm, close to the motorway between junctions 26 and 27.
Police, fire and ambulance services are currently at the scene just off the southbound carriageway.
One lane is closed on the M1 southbound between Hucknall and Nottingham.
