TWO casualties have been reported after an aircraft crashed into a field near the M1.
The plane came down at just after 1.30pm, close to the motorway between Junction 26 at Nuthall and Junction 27 at Annesley Woodhouse.
One lane was closed on the M1 Southbound between Hucknall and Nottingham and re-opened at 2.25pm.
The plane, which is white with red detail, is around a quarter of a mile from the M1 - near to the Hucknall aerodrome.
Police, fire and ambulance services as well as a specialist rescue unit were at the scene.
