The A38 is now fully re-opened after an accident caused traffic chaos this morning and resulted in a 10-mile diversion for drivers.
The mayhem at Markeaton roundabout was caused when a lorry's trailer overturned.
Motorists were advised to exit the A38 northbound at Kingsway island, follow the A5111 then join the A52 at Spondon before taking the A61 to rejoin the A38 at Little Eaton Island.
