HEAD coach Steve McClaren praised his Derby County team after a five-star second-half performance sank Blackpool.
Derby trailed 1-0 at the break but hit back to win 5-1 at the newly-named iPro Stadium.
Chris Martin bagged his first-ever league hat trick to take his tally to 13 goals for the season.
Craig Bryson and skipper Richard Keogh also scored as the Rams cemented fourth place in the Championship.
McClaren felt his team was unlucky to be behind at half-time.
"We had three or four opportunities first half and we said at half time - in fact, we said before the game - this would be won over 90 minutes," said McClaren.
"We have a fit bunch of lads, and we saw that.
"We got a bit of a break on some occasions, with some decisions, but I think overall we deserved that and we deserved to win.
"The main thing was that at 1-0 down we kept our composure, stayed patient and kept playing our football.
"We told them at half time just to keep going, to keep playing.
"We just upped the tempo a bit, we wanted them to hunt the ball quicker, to win the ball back quicker.
"It was a great second half performance."
Derby were awarded a penalty a minute after the break which Martin dispatched.
Blackpool were not happy with the decision.
"I've seen it again, and if I was Paul Ince I would say it was a harsh decision," said McClaren.
It was first of three goals in 11 minutes for Derby.
Martin put them 2-1 up and Craig Bryson added a third before the Rams were awarded another penalty.
Chris Basham was sent off in the 68th minute for a foul on Simon Dawkins and Martin stepped up to convert his second spot kick of the afternoon.
Blackpool then found themselves reduced to nine men when substitute Angel Martinez was dismissed three minutes from time after receiving a second yellow card.
Keogh completed the scoring in stoppage time and Derby had a fifth consecutive league win.
