A 44-YEAR-OLD man was assaulted in Allenton in the early hours of this morning.
Police said they were called by a member of the public to Chadwick Avenue at 4.40am.
A Derbyshire Police spokesman said a man suffered facial injuries and was taken to the Royal Derby Hospital, but said his injuries were not thought to be serious.
