QUAD in Derby has been awarded funding to help secure its future for the next four years. Chief Executive Adam Buss said "This is fantastic news not only for QUAD but also for the city of Derby." Arts Council England has offered the Market Place venue £477,753 for 2015-16, with an indicative amount of £477,753 for 2016-17 and £477,753 for 2017-18. Mr Buss added: "We recognise how difficult the Arts Council's choices have been and for QUAD to once again be a key National Portfolio Organisation is vindication of the quality and diversity of the work we undertake here. "Derby continues to grow artistically and events like FORMAT show that World Class art can not only take place in Derby but can also be created here." "The aim of the Arts Council is 'Great art and culture for everyone' by championing, developing and investing in arts and cultural experiences that enrich people's lives."
