ASHBOURNE'S main route through to Leek was closed today after a tree fell on a lorry which was involved in a collision with a tractor.
Crews were called to the Calton Moor Crossroads, on the A52 shortly after 11am.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said they sent an ambulance, doctor, senior paramedic and community first responders to the scene and one patient was taken to the Royal Derby Hospital with minor injuries.
A man who received cuts to the head refused to be taken to hospital for treatment.
