A SPECIAL celebration service for animals will be held in Ashbourne today (Sunday).
The Ashbourne Animal Welfare is holding its annual event at St Oswald's Church at 2pm.
The service is to give thanks for the companionship that animals give.
Dogs and small pets are welcome in church. A donkey from Derbyshire Donkey Sanctuary will also be at the event.
