A NEW map has been released which shows online visitors how religious different parts of the country are.
Called DataShine, the map was created at University College London's Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis and shows the atheist and religious hot-spots around the UK.
It uses data from the 2011 census to show areas where at least 39.5 per cent of people said they had no religion as dark blue, while dark red indicates less than 10 per cent of people gave this answer.
