A 13-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged with robbery after allegedly threatening a teenager with a pair of nail scissors.
The 17-year-old victim was walking along Harvey Road, Allenton, when he was approached by a boy on a bike.
The cyclist then allegedly threatened the victim with a pair of nail scissors and took his phone.
The incident took place at about 8.30pm on Saturday and officers arrested the teenager, who is from Alvaston, shortly afterwards.
He has now been charged with robbery and possessing a bladed article.
He is due to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates' Court this week.
