TWO pedestrians have been taken to hospital after they were in collision with a car that mounted the kerb, police said.
The people were in Victoria Avenue, Borrowash, close to its junction with Derby Road, when the accident happened at 12.35pm this afternoon.
A force spokesman men two cars were involved in a collision, a Skoda Fabia and a Renault Clio, and one of them mounted the kerb and collided with the pedestrians.
They have been taken to hospital to be checked but their injuries are not believed to be serious at this point.
It has not yet been revealed whether the two people are male or female or how old they are.
