A TREE caught alight in the grounds of the University of Derby's Mickleover campus.
A fire service spokesman said crews were called to reports of a blaze in Chevin Avenue, shortly before 9pm last night.
But when they arrived the flames were already out.
They made the scene safe and left at 9.35pm.
The cause has yet to be revealed.
