CITY of Derby swimmer Adam Peaty will be going for Commonwealth Games glory again on Monday night.
The 19-year-old from Uttoxeter, who won the men's 100m breaststroke gold medal on Saturday night, booked his place in Monday night's 50m breaststroke final by winning his semi in a superb time of 26.99secs tonight.
Peaty chased down Australia's Christian Sprengerand caught him in the final 10m, with Scotland's Ross Murdoch third.
In the other semi at Glasgow's Tollcross pool, South Africa's Cameron van der Burgh won in 26.80.
Peaty said: "It's getting very competitive now and we all know each other inside out, which is pushing breaststroke forward and it's great."
