DERBY magistrates have ordered that a greyhound which savaged a Bichon Frise to death in front of a two-year-old girl on a Derby park is destroyed.
The attack happened in Sunnydale Park, Littleover, on March 9 this year.
Greyhound owner, Ina Strauss, 52, of Gurney Avenue, Sunny Hill, pleaded guilty to owning a dog dangerously out of control in a public place. She was fined £239, ordered to pay £1,353 compensation, £85 costs and a £23 victim surcharge.
