POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a four masked men stole cigarettes from a Tesco delivery van in broad daylight.
The van had just pulled into the Tesco store off Waverley Street in Long Eaton when the raid occurred at 2.20pm yesterday.
Four masked men in a black car followed the van in and as the driver left the vehicle they stole a quantity of cigarettes from the truck.
One man has been arrested. Derbyshire police are appealing for witnesses.
