A NEW Specsavers store has opened in Ripley.
It was officially opened today in Oxford Street by the Mayor of Ripley Town Council, Councillor Roland Emmas-Williams.
To celebrate the opening, staff handed out goody bags, which included free sight test vouchers.
Community radio station Amber Sound is broadcasting from the store today and funds are being raised for the Royal Derby Kidney Patient Association.
