A MAN in his 80s is believed to have been lying dead in his house for a fortnight.
Police forced entry to the house in Queen Elizabeth Way, Ilkeston, at about noon today after being told by a neighbour that the man had not been seen for around two weeks.
A spokesman for Derbyshire police said: "We found him deceased at the address. There are no suspicious circumstances expected.
"His relatives have been informed."
