A MAN was attacked and robbed in a Derby alleyway.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the man was assaulted.
The attack took place at 1.20am on Sunday in an alleyway near to the Boutique club in St James Street.
As the victim stood in the alley he was approached by a man who punched him to the face and stole his wallet from his back pocket.
The man then ran off, turned right out of the alleyway and along James Street.
He was described as black, aged 19 to 25, of medium build with short dark hair.
He was wearing a white sleeveless body warmer.
