TWO goals each from Shane Hill and Ashley Harris ensured a first home win on East Midlands Division Two for Derby.
Hill gave the home side an early lead against Long Buckby, who equalised shortly after.
Harris restored the advantage and further goals from Andy Hooton, Hill and Harris completed a 5-2 win for Derby.
There were wins, too, for the men's third and fourth team but a disappointing 4-0 defeat at the University of Nottingham for the ladies' first team.
The ladies' seconds, though, edged past Staveley 2-1, thanks to goals from Lucy Brown and Theresa Alton.
Derby Ladies' third team suffered a 5-2 defeat by Belper thirds, while the fourths were beaten 2-1 at Staveley seconds.
