DAVID Cameron has demanded urgent talks after the UK was told to contribute a further £1.7bn to the European Union's budget.
The move would add about a fifth to the UK's annual net EU contribution of £8.6bn.
Ukip leader Nigel Farage said it was yet another reason why Britain should pull out of the union.
Mr Cameron said he wants urgent talks with European finance ministers about the matter.
