MOTORISTS travelling on the A38 southbound in Derby faced severe delays this morning.
Traffic was queuing between the Palm Court Island and Markeaton Island, in the area where roadworks are currently taking place.
At one point drivers were stuck for an hour. Reports say there is congestion between the A6 Duffield Road and the A52 Ashbourne Road.
