DRIVER have been warned of icy patches on Derbyshire's roads on Monday, as temperatures plunge again.
Last night saw lows of -5C in Derby, matching the previous coldest of the winter on Wednesday.
It won't be as cold as that on Monday morning but a Met Office spokesman said the temperature would be near freezing again.
He said: "People should be aware that the main risk of icy patches will be early Monday morning."
He said a thin dusting of snow may fall in the Peak District tomorrow, while lower ground will see showers.
Sleet could fall in Derby tomorrow evening with temperatures at about 1C.
