DERBY County got swiftly back to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion at the iPro Stadium.
The Championship leaders responded to their defeat at Leeds with a three-goal blitz inside the opening 20 minutes.
Rams top scorer Chris Martin ended a run of four games without a goal, netting twice, either side of a Johnny Russell strike.
Steve McClaren made three changes to his side, with Jake Buxton replacing injured skipper Richard Keogh in central defence, while Craig Bryson and Simon Dawkins came in for Will Hughes and Jordon Ibe.
Derby came flying out of the blocks and Martin's low shot from 20 yards forced David Stockdale into an early save.
Bryson then fired a dangerous ball across the face of goal but nobody was able to get on the end of it.
The home side went ahead after 10 minutes, though.
Russell and Jeff Hendrick combined to find Martin, who cut on to his left foot and drilled a low shot into the net from 15 yards, leaving Stockdale rooted to the spot.
Joao Teixeira dragged an effort wide following a Brighton corner, before Derby doubled their lead after 15 minutes.
Russell latched on to a lovely through ball from Craig Forsyth and lifted the ball over Stockdale, with the aid of a slight deflection.
Former England international Darren Bent had the ball in the Rams net soon after but the flag was up for offside.
Derby got their third goal in the 20th minute.
Cyrus Christie delivered a cross from the right to the far post and Martin rose highest to head home from eight yards.
Brighton boss Sami Hyypia made an early change, bringing on Rohan Ince for Teixeira, and the visitors came back into the game well.
Right-back Bruno sent a volley across goal from a tight angle and Derby survived a scare when Christie brought down Elliott Bennett just outside the area.
Omar Mascarell then made an important block to deny Solly March after he had cut in from the right past Forsyth.
And in added time, Jake Forster-Caskey volleyed over, at full stretch, from Bent's nod-down.
Four minutes into the second half, March fired wide from the edge of the area following Ryan Shotton's misplaced pass.
But Derby almost had a fourth goal in the 55th minute.
After good work from Martin, Russell and Hendrick, Bryson's fierce drive was spilled by Stockdale, who watched the ball roll on to the post before Aaron Hughes cleared.
The Rams went close twice in quick succession in the 63rd minute.
Hendrick's shot was parried by Stockdale but Derby stayed on the attack and, moments later, the Republic of Ireland midfielder set up Bryson, who side-footed wide in a great position.
Martin had a chance for his hat-trick after good work from Bryson and Forsyth but his low shot was straight at Stockdale.
There was a return to action for Jamie Ward in the closing stages, having missed eight games with a thigh injury.
The Rams pushed for another goal and another substitute, Ibe, nearly had one in the 89th minute.
The Liverpool loanee was allowed to cut in from the right and his left-foot shot was beaten away by a diving Stockdale.
