CHRISTIAN Ribeiro scored a late equaliser to deny Burton Albion a win at Exeter City.
The defender, who was on trial with the Brewers in the summer, headed a corner in with four minutes to go at St James Park as Albion had to settle for a point.
Jacob Blyth had given Burton a 1-0 lead on the hour and they had defended well until Ribeiro's leveller.
Both sides tried to get the ball down and play some passing football in what was an interesting encounter, albeit one short on clear-cut chances.
On a day when most sides in League Two were in cup action, a win would have taken Albion joint top until Ribeiro's equaliser.
