The first festive community event of its kind to be held in Alvaston has been hailed as "absolutely fantastic" by one of its organisers.
Hundreds of people attended the event at Alvaston Park, which included stalls, singers, an art exhibition and a visit from Santa.
Rachel Bradley, one of the co-organisers, said; "It was an absolutely fantastic event, really brilliant and we can't thank the community enough for come out in the cold to support it.
"The bands and the choirs were amazing and the whole atmosphere was just so relaxed, it was really, really, lovely."
