A 17-YEAR-OLD girl has been charged in connection with two robberies where the victims were allegedly forced to hand over their mobile phones.
The first incident is alleged to have happened along a canal path between Harvey Road and London Road, Alvaston, Derby at about 3.40pm on Friday.
A girl aged 15 was threatened and told to hand over her mobile phone.
The second robbery was reported to have taken place in Amber Street, Derby at about 4.10pm on Sunday.
The victim, also 15, was forced to hand over her phone after being threatened.
A 17-year-old girl who cannot be named was arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with the incidents.
She has been charged with two counts of robbery and remanded in custody.
She is due to appear at Derby Crown Court on Monday, April 14.
