A FORMER Derbyshire student made his TV debut when he performed on ITV's Stars in their Eyes last night.
Blake Greenwell, who attended Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, in Ashbourne, but who now lives in Stoke, was transformed into Eminem on the show, presented by comedian Harry Hill.
Blake was one of five contestants to perform in the new format show - Anne Martin came on as Kylie Minogue, Jerry and Haley Judge as The Everly Brothers, Olivia Peyechu as Rihanna and Christie Holland as Christina Aguilera.
This episode was won by Christie Holland, who will now go through to the final.
The revival of the classic show received mixed reviews from critics but was attacked on Twitter by fans of the Matthew Kelly version of the show.
