Ricky Hill: Neighbours near scene where body believed to be missing Derbyshire man found pay tribute

NEIGHBOURS living near to the scene where a body - believed to missing Derbyshire man Ricky Hill - has been found have paid tribute to the 30-year-old. Derbyshire police said they received a call from a member of the public on Saturday at 3.50pm, to report the discovery of a body of a man in a wooded area near to Balmoral Close, Littleover. A spokesman for the force said it was believed to be the body of Ricky Hill, who went missing from Royal Derby Hospital on Tuesday, September 23. A formal identification of the body is yet to take place. The family of Ricky, of Somercotes, said he had been admitted to the hospital after being diagnosed as suffering from depression. Andy Law, 59, of Owlers Lane, close to Balmoral Close, said he was "really sorry to hear about what had happened". Mr Law, who works for Rolls-Royce, said: "I knew nothing about the incident but I would like to send my condolences to his family, friends and relations. "It is such a shame that this sort of thing can happen." Another neighbour, who did not wish to be named, said: "How awful and to think he was only 30. All my wishes to his family."
