MAIREAD Philpott has accused her sister of "desecrating the graves" of the six children she and husband Mick killed. According to an interview in the Sun, Philpott had been sending out laminated cards to put on the graves of her children on their birthdays. But in an interview in the paper with sister Bernadette Duffy, she said it angered her so much that she cut them all up. Philpott, 32 - jailed for 17 years for the deaths of her six children - is reported to have complained to police about her sister's actions. Bernadette Duffy told the Sun: "It's sick that they burned those kids to death and are now trying to make their own miserable consciences feel better by sending these cards and poems. "They lost the right to have anything to do with those children when they decided to set fire to the house where the little mites were all fast asleep." Philpott lost her appeal over her jail sentence earlier this week. The Philpotts' children Jade, 10, and her brothers, Duwayne, 13, John, nine, Jack, eight, Jesse, six, and Jayden, five, all perished in their bedrooms after flames tore through their home in Victory Road, Allenton, in the early hours of May 11 last year.
