A CONVICTED robber who absconded from a Derbyshire open prison 18 months ago has handed himself into police.
Adam Walsh, 27, gave himself up to police in Preston, in Lancashire, after failing to return to Sudbury prison on July 1, 2013.
He was serving an indeterminate sentence for robbery and firearms offences after he was convicted at Bolton Crown Court on September 3, 2007. * Read more of today's top news stories here.
