ILKESTON secured their Evo-Stik League Premier Division status for another year thanks to a 3-2 win at Marine. They went behind to Andrew Fowler's seventh-minute opener but goals from Michael Williams and Rob Duffy put them ahead at the break. Laurie Wilson added a third from the penalty spot after 81 minutes and Fowler's second goal of the game proved only a consolation for the hosts. Matlock Town drew 1-1 at Nantwich Town, with Danny Holland's 11th-minute opener for the Gladiators being cancelled out by Alex Frost's effort early in the second half. In Evo-Stik League First Division South, Mickleover Sports are not yet guaranteed a play-off place after they lost 1-0 at Sutton Coldfield Town. Daryl Taylor hit the winner after 69 minutes for Sutton, who can still mathematically catch fifth-placed Sports with two games to go. Belper Town, already assured of a play-off spot, won 3-0 at home to Brigg Town. Jon Froggatt bagged a first-half brace before Mark Ward completed the scoring. Elsewhere in the division, Gresley went down 2-0 at home to Scarborough Athletic. Heanor Town were 2-0 winners at home to Parkgate in Northern Counties East League Premier Division. Kieran Debrouwer and Jared Holmes were on target for the Lions. Long Eaton United were beaten 3-2 at Garforth Town. Borrowash Victoria's East Midlands Counties League title hopes are fading after they lost 4-1 at leaders Thurnby Nirvana. Thurnby now have a 10-point lead over Vics, who have four games remaining. Ellistown & Ibstock United have climbed above Borrowash into second place after a 2-0 win at Holbrook Sports. Meanwhile, Graham Street Prims lost 3-0 at Arnold Town.
