CHRIS Martin hailed a "great achievement" for Derby County after the Rams secured a Championship play-off spot.
Steve McClaren's men were assured of a top-six finish before kick-off against Doncaster Rovers on Friday night after Brighton and Reading failed to win.
Derby stuck to their task regardless, though, and triumphed 2-0 at the Keepmoat Stadium.
George Thorne opened the scoring just before half-time and Martin sealed the victory in the 79th minute - with his 22nd goal of the season.
"We're delighted to be in the play-offs," said the Rams' top scorer.
"It's a great achievement for the squad and the staff, and everyone involved.
"I think we've deserved it - and the key now is to make the most of where we've got to.
"We will be trying our best over the coming weeks to make sure we're prepared and in the right frame of mind.
"I think that's a great achievement from where we were, especially when the manager took over."
