THE roof of the former Derbyshire Royal Infirmary has allegedly been targeted by lead thieves.
Police said two people were spotted on top of the building, in London Road, at 1.35pm today.
A force helicopter was scrambled to search for the pair.
A spokeswoman for Derbyshire police said a 23-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of burglary.
She added inquiries were "ongoing".
