MOTORISTS travelling between Derbyshire and Leicestershire were hit with huge delays because of an overturned lorry.
Two lanes were closed and there was slow traffic on the M1 southbound between J22, in Ashby-De-La-Zouch and J21a on Wednesday evening.
There was also slow traffic on the M1 northbound between J21a at Leicester North and J22 at Coalville.
All lanes have now been reopened.
