AUSTRALIA are coming to the 3aaa County Ground again as part of their 2015 Ashes tour.
They will play Derbyshire in a three-day fixture starting on Thursday, July 23. The match falls between the second Test at Lord's and the third at Edgbaston.
It is the latest of a number of high-profile tourist matches to come to Derby, with South Africa visiting in 2012, New Zealand in 2013 and India due to arrive for a three-day fixture in July.
The Australians played a two-day game against Derbyshire in 2010 and the county was also awarded a three-day match against Australia A in 2012.
"Tour matches at Derby have been popular over the last few years and supporters can now look forward to the visit of Australia in 2015," said chief executive Simon Storey.
"The award of high-profile fixtures continues to support our ambition for Derbyshire to become a leading destination for England Lions, women's internationals and tour matches.
"It will be a real treat for our members, sponsors and supporters to see Derbyshire take on some of the best cricketers in the world at the 3aaa County Ground."
