NOTTINGHAM Forest are expected to announce their first two new signings of the Stuart Pearce era tomorrow. It is understood that both players are strikers, as Pearce looks to bolster his attacking options for the new campaign. The Reds have been working on a deal to bring Lee Peltier back to the City Ground following his successful loan spell at the end of last season, but it is not thought the versatile defender or midfielder is one of the two players the club are close to completing moves for. Norwich City are said to be considering making an offer for Leeds United striker Ross McCormack according to The People. McCormack has been the centre of transfer speculation since the departure of Brian McDermott. Norwich see McCormack as the ideal replacement for Gary Hooper who himself has been linked with a move to QPR. Norwich were believed to have been interested in Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes at the beginning of the week but it is believed the fee wanted is too much for Norwich, so they have now turned their attention to the Leeds hotshot. Norwich have had transfer dealings with Leeds a few times in the last couple of seasons, and if any bid should come about McCormack could join Snodgrass, Howson, Johnson and Becchio at Carrow Road.
