ENGLAND players including Danny Welbeck and Daniel Sturridge took part in a capoeira session in a Rio favela. Fraser Forster, Jack Wilshere and Adam Lallana completed the England line-up at the Complexo Esportivo de Rochina favela where over 70,000 people are housed. Welbeck told the FA's YouTube channel of his shock as himself and Sturridge got dragged in to join the exhibition: "We were just standing on the outside and somebody started dragging me in the middle." Sturridge added: "They started doing cartwheels like 'The Matrix' and telling us to repeat it!" Check out the video below to see the pair's skills. A GROUP of England fans have completed their epic 1966km trek to the World Cup to help build a well in north-east Brazil. Adam Burns, 27, David Bewick, 32, Pete Johnston, 30, and Ben Olsen, 31, spent three months travelling from Mendoza, Argentina in early March, through Uruguay to the south Brazilian coast. Their trip saw them battle the harsh desert of San Luis, a live train line in the Justo Daract and through swampy marshlands. Mr Johnson, from Guisborough, Yorkshire, said: "The places we have seen and the people we have met have made this a once-in-a-lifetime trip. "Walking enables you to discover a country at a pace that allows you to take in the little details you'd otherwise miss." The quartet are trying to raise together £20,000 for the J de V Arts Care Trust to build a well in Bahia, which is suffering the worst drought in 50 years, and are so far halfway towards their target on £11,372.50. NEWS of more trouble from Sao Paulo, where the metro strike has stopped momentarily, although union leaders have warned it may restart for the beginning of the tournament. Four million commuters have been affected by striking to date, and the Arena Corinthians stadium heavily relies on public transport. A pay dispute is the issue as trade unions want an increase of 12.2%, whilst the current offer on the table is only 8.7%. NEARLY three million tickets have been sold for the tournament. The opening match, semi-finals and final are sold out, and there are a few tickets remaining for 27 of the remaining 64 games. Of the sales, 60% have gone to Brazilians, with the remaining 40% for the rest of the world, the most of which went to US fans (196,838), followed by Argentina (61,021), Germany (58,778) and England (57,917). SPAIN'S midfield metronome Xabi Alonso says he is unsure as to whether this summer might be his last time in a La Roja shirt. Alonso, 32, has won the double with club side Real Madrid this season and an international football treble with Spain's Euro 2008 & 2012 titles, alongside the World Cup in 2010. But he told Spanish radio station, Cope: "I haven't decided whether I will quit Spain. "I'm really focused on the World Cup and I'll decide after the tournament. If my body responds and I feel as though I want to continue, then I'll continue."
