AN 18-YEAR-OLD girl was the victim of a sex attack along a bridlepath near Swadlincote, police have said.
Police are appealing for information following the incident off Pit Lane, Church Gresley, at 4.30pm on Sunday.
A force spokeswoman said the teenage girl's family called the police after she returned home and told them she had been attacked.
The area was cordoned off while a forensic examination was carried out.
The victim was unable to give a description of her alleged attacker.
