A MOTORCYCLIST is in intensive care following a crash in South Derbyshire.
The 49-year-old was rushed to the Royal Derby Hospital after a collision with a car in Milton.
Police said the crash happened along a single-track lane outside Foremarke School at 3.50pm yesterday.
A force spokeswoman said the biker suffered "serious internal injuries", including a fractured rib and bruised lung.
Police said the motorcyclist was in a "serious but stable condition".
The car involved was a Ford S-Max.
Witnesses should call police on 101.
