THE Queen is to visit Derbyshire next month.
Accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, Her Majesty is scheduled to arrive on Thursday, July 10.
Her first port of call will be luxury knitwear firm John Smedley.
Currently celebrating its 230th year in business, the company was last year granted its first Royal Warrant of Appointment as a supplier of knitwear to members of the royal household.
It will not be the first time that she has been to the Lea Mills knitwear firm, having last paid the company a visit back in 1968.
After a guided tour around the factory, the Queen will be attending a public engagement at Chatsworth House.
