JEFF Hendrick has signed a new four-year deal with Derby County.
The 22-year-old midfielder had 12 months left on his deal. His contract now runs to 2018.
The Republic of Ireland international has made 129 appearances for the Rams.
Head coach Steve McClaren said: "It is fantastic news that Jeff has signed a new long-term contract and it is probably one of the best signings we will make this summer."
