A PETROL leak from a car in West Hallam was stopped by firefighters putting the vehicle on ramps.
The fire crew went to the incident in Newdigate Street at 4.45pm on Sunday.
A fire service spokeswoman said: "The petrol was spilling into the road.
"The vehicle was left with the owner to arrange transport to a local garage."
Firefighters were on the scene for about 30 minutes.
